Aviva Investors is to launch absolute return funds across a range of asset classes this year, according to group chief executive Andrew Moss.
Following the launch of its UK Absolute Return fund in August last year, Moss says Aviva plans to introduce absolute return products across "all sectors". The move will complement Aviva Investors' push into structured products, which has continued this year with the launch of its fourth portfolio linked to the FTSE. Aviva Investors, the fund management arm of insurance giant, saw a £900m net inflow in 200. It took in £2.4bn from external clients, which more than offset £1.5bn outflows of inhouse money in 2009.
