Polar Capital boosts UK sales team

Polar Capital Holdings has boosted its UK sales team with an appointment of John Regnier-Wilson from Martin Currie.

Joining Polar at the start of next month, Regnier-Wilson will develop distribution of Polar's Ucits-compliant fund range in the UK. This includes its UK Absolute Return fund run by Philip Hardy, and Ben Rogoff's Technology trust. He will focus predominantly on stockbrokers and wealth managers in the distribution of thee funds. Before working at Martin Currie, he spent 15 years at Axa Framlington. Tim Woolley, Polar chief executive and co-founder, says the group plans to accelerate the growth of its UK business in 2010.
