Simon Ellis to join LGIM as retail MD

Former Fidelity multi-manager head Simon Ellis is joining Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) as managing director of its retail business.

Starting next month, he will have overall responsibility for the group's operations and distribution of its fund range and report to savings executive director Mark Gregory. "He brings great industry expertise and knowledge," Gregory says. "I look forward to working with Simon as we continue to develop and expand the unit trust business."
