Swip fund receives OBSR 'A' rating

The Swip Pan-European Smaller Companies fund has been awarded an ‘A' rating from OBSR.

Managed by Rory Hammerson and Kathleen Dewandeleer, the fund has fallen 16.3% against a 14.3% fall for the sector over one year to 3 August, according to Morningstar. Hammerson, Swip's European equities investment director, puts the rating down to the group's strong research process. While the fund has enjoyed a sharp recent rally, the manager is still concerned and says the economic climate "remains uncertain".
