Intermediary Wise Investment is to launch a UK retail fund of funds (Fof), featuring a blend of unit trusts and investment trusts. The UK unit trust, to be managed by Tony Yarrow, will typically hold around 20-30 funds at any one time with the split between unit trusts and investment trusts at around 60/30 with 10% invested in cash. The fund, which will be administered by Capita, can invest in any sector, but Yarrow said it will principally invest in the UK and have a bias towards equity funds over fixed interest.
