Pension managers continued to move money from UK to overseas equities over the course of November last year, cutting the average local market weighting by 50 basis points, according to figures from Russell/Mellon. The drop in average UK equity weightings among balanced pooled funds from 49% to 48.5% over the month represents a new low since the group's records began at the end of 1989. At the same time, the average weighting in overseas equity markets rose from 35.1% to 36.1%.
