average pooled fund produces just 0.5% over month with 50% UK equity weighting
The average Balanced Pooled Pension fund made an offer to offer return of 0.5% during July with top performer St James's Place (Invesco) returning 2.7%, according to the latest Caps report. At the opposite end of the peer group, just five portfolios made a negative return with three vehicles, from Baillie Gifford, Credit Suisse and Legal & General, producing 0%. Overall, the worst performer in the 62-fund sector was the SG Managed fund, which made a loss of 1% over the month.
