Liverpool-based Midas Capital Partners is running a permanent 0.5% dilution levy on share purchases and sales following its Oeic conversion last week. Midas Capital will continue its policy of taking no initial charge on its Balanced Income and Balanced Growth funds and shares in the Oeic will be supplied at NAV plus the 0.5% dilution levy. The purpose of the levy, paid directly into the funds, is to prevent a situation arising in which existing shareholders effectively pay the dealing costs for those who are new or departing.
