Total gross Isa sales fell to £429m in June 2002 from £634.5m the previous month, according to the IMA. Total gross retail sales were £2.27bn, down from £2.5bn in June 2001. The amount of assets under management in investment funds fell to £222.2bn in June from £240bn in May and were down from £253bn in June 2001. Isa funds under management totalled £24.4bn in June 2001, down slightly from £25.9bn in May but up on the £21.3bn invested a year ago.
