Managed funds are looking to India and the emerging markets for long-term growth but remain cautious on further falls in the US dollar. Jonathan Arthur, DWS Investments fund of fund manager, says: "Investors are nervous because many of these markets have had a good run and, whether officially or unofficially, are linked to a declining dollar." Yet despite this, Arthur says a steady flow of investment from the west plus cheap labour makes these markets an attractive option.
