Eleven sub-funds to service retail business with focus placed on the intermediary channel
Barclays Global Investors has created an Oeic to service a retail business launched this week focusing on the intermediary channel. The Oeic BGI contains eleven funds, previously unit trusts under the Barclays brand, with all but one run using BGI's active, computer-driven management process. Only seven of the funds will be available through FundsNetwork: the UK Growth, American Growth, European and UK Smaller Companies funds, all of which have a 4% initial charge and a 1% annual management fee.
