Solus has put former Brown Shipley private client manager Michael Clarkson in charge of its three funds of funds (Fofs): Solus Balanced, Growth and International. Since the departure of Alan Stokes and Simon Brooks in April this year, the three Fofs have been run by chief investment officer Kevin Doran, who will remain as co-manager of the funds with Clarkson. Clarkson has been with Brown Shipley, Solus's parent group, for 11 years, but this marks his first foray into Fofs.
