Solus has appointed Alan Stokes, formerly chief executive of Investors Partnership, to head up its multi-manager operations. It is also rationalising its retail funds down to 13 Oeic sub-funds, including three new multi-manager Oeics; Solus Growth, Solus Balanced and Solus International. The final range is still subject to FSA approval. Current fund of funds manager Kevin Doran will focus on running the fixed interest funds, said Graeme Sinclair, managing director of Solus Funds.
