Solus has put former Brown Shipley private client manager Michael Clarkson in charge of its three funds of funds (Fofs). The Fofs were launched to the intermediary market and headed up by Alan Stokes and Simon Brooks in January 2003. The pair departed in April 2004 and were replaced by Kevin Doran, who also has the role of CIO and manager of four gilt funds for Solus. Clarkson has been with Brown Shipley, parent group of Solus, for 11 years but this move marks his first foray into Fofs.
