M&G bond manager Jim Leaviss is taking several months out of the industry, leaving deputies in charge of the day-to-day running of his funds until September. Leaviss has taken what the house has described as an extended holiday for five months. M&G, perhaps aware of the number of managers who fail to return after taking time out of the industry, emphasised that this is not a sabbatical, stating it would be factually incorrect to call it one. In Leaviss's absence Richard Woolnough is running the M&G Gilt & Fixed Income fund and is sharing the management of the M&G Global Managed Bond fun...
