Morningstar has rated Lazards the best Isa provider on a risk adjusted basis, followed by Investec and Barclays Global Investors (BGI). The research, which takes into account 36 months of fund returns until the end of March 2003, ranks groups out of a maximum possible five points. Lazards scored 4.29, Investec 4.25 and BGI 4.2 These figures are calculated using the average Morningstar ratings for each group's Isa funds, which take into account the effect of costs and risk on fund performance.
