Newton's Higher Income has emerged as the best-selling fund in 2004 in the UK Fund Industry Review & Directory, although its research omits all Fidelity and Invesco Perpetual products. The figures, for gross sales to 31 December 2004, were provided by each group to the publisher Charterhouse Communications Group. The statistics list the Newton Higher Income fund managed by Tineke Frikee as having received the highest level of gross sales of £608.80m.
