A fund of funds has been added to the options available to Scottish Equitable pension policyholders. The Universal Lifestyle Collection (ULC) is a managed portfolio offering progressively lower risk as the policyholder gets older. In the final seven years before retirement, the long gilt exposure of the portfolio is increased on a month-by-month basis. The fund's launch follows that of the Scottish Equitable Universal Balanced Collection (UBC) in June last year, a fund of funds offering predominantly equity exposure.
