Allianz Dresdner Asset Management will change its name to Allianz Global Investors from 14 February bringing it in line with the rebranding of the global business in October 2004. All retail investment funds in the UK will now be marketed under the name of Allianz Global Investors. The group is also adding a prefix to the underlying sub-funds to denote which specialist asset management company is managing each fund. For example, the Gilt Yield fund will be renamed the Allianz Pimco Gilt Yield fund and the UK Growth fund will be renamed the Allianz RCM UK Growth fund.
