Decent returns from sector hide shrinking assets and potential for mergers and closures in the future
Funds listed in the IMA's Technology & Telecoms sector have produced returns akin to those in the UK All Companies peer group over the past 12 months, although the former have seen large outflows over the timeframe. Investment Week looked at how the funds in the sector have grown in size over the past year. On 22 May 2005, there were 19 funds in the sector with at least one year performance figures.
