Baillie wins top award

Baillie Gifford was named Investment Week's Investment Trust Group of the Year at a ceremony held in London on 18 November. It beat off competition from a shortlist that included Close Finsbury, Fidelity, Framlington, Hendersons and Aberdeen to achieve the accolade. The judging panel, including fund managers Nick Greenwood from Iimia and Derek Larcombe from Morgan Stanley Quilter, were impressed by the all-round strong performance generated consistently by the trusts in the Baillie Gifford stable.
