Elite has outsourced the management of its growth fund to Ian Williams at Charteris Treasury Portfolio Managers in a bid to increase assets. Williams, CEO and chairman of the firm as well as manager of the City Financial Strategic Gilt fund, said he had a number of clients interested in the covered call strategy used on the EFA James Brearley Premium Growth Trust. As a result, the management was transferred to Williams on 1 November as it was deemed it would increase the size of the fund greatly, according to David Williams at the Way Group.
