Former Mercury UK manager Paul Harwood is returning to the fund's industry acting as adviser on Solus' forthcoming Flagship fund. The vehicle is being created through the merger of a number of the group's existing portfolios. As part of a planned range rationalisation, moving from 17 funds down to just eight, the group will combine its UK Growth, UK Equity Income and its Balanced, Growth and Income portfolios, into one the single manager UK Flagship.
