The Liontrust Distribution fund, the first launch from the company for five years, will open to investors on 2 December. At launch the fund, which invests in equities and gilts, will be available at an offer price of 100p. It will aim to achieve a yield of around 5% and be benchmarked against FTSE All Stocks 5-15 year index. State Street is to handle the 40% gilt element of the fund, while flagship manager Jeremy Lang is responsible for the 60% equity investment.
