Close Finsbury has launched a fixed income vehicle called UK Gilt, a sub-fund of its Dublin-based umbrella. It is being run by Charteris Treasury Portfolio Managers and invest in AAA or equivalently rated government bonds. The managers aim to produce a return from government bonds comparable to corporate bonds, but with a lower risk profile.The minimum investment, £1,000, commission to intermediaries is up to 3% and the portfolio carries a 1% annual management charge.
