Pensions investment manager Hermes has been appointed to run seven passive funds for Axa, which will be added to the 43 actively managed portfolios within its group pensions offering from 1 October. The seven index-tracking funds encompass UK and international fixed income and equities asset classes. Five are equity based, including the UK Index Tracker, which is linked to the FTSE All-Share, the Europe ex-UK Index Tracker and the S&P 500-benchmarked US Index Tracker.
