Axa has upped bonus rates on the £10bn Sun Life with-profits fund by up to 75 basis points following a period of strong investment returns. Payouts on many maturing policies are increasing by up to 6% as a result of the declaration, according to the group. Bonus rates on bond and personal pension policies have increased from 1.75% to 2.5% and from 3.5% to 3.75% on stakeholder business. There are no changes to interim bonus rates on the £6.5bn Sun Life Assurance Society (SLAS) with-profits fund.
