Ashcroft Asset Management has launched its second Oeic, which invests in sterling-denominated money market instruments, gilts and bonds with a maximum date to maturity of five years. Investment in the Ashcroft Sterling Bond fund will be restricted to investment grade securities with ratings of A or above. The fund carries a 3% initial charge, of which up to 2% commission is available to intermediaries. There is also a 1% annual management fee and a 0.25% trail commission.
