Group launches CGT-friendly wrapper for Conservative Approach fund

Matrix has launched a closed-ended version of its Conservative Approach Strategy (CAS) fund, designed to offer a tax-efficient option for investors. CAS is a multi-strategy fund of hedge funds aiming to deliver annual returns of Libor plus 4% to 6% with a level of volatility similar to the FTSE Gov 5-15-year Gilt index. In February, the vehicle was outsourced to US-based fund of funds manager Lyster Watson.
