By James Thorneley Investment trust Isa sales have grown at a faster rate than the equivalent unit trust sales over the past year, according to the AITC. Purchases of investment trust Isas have almost tripled over the past 12 months, growing from £23.4m in the second quarter of 1999 to £69.11m in the second quarter of 2000, a rise of 195.34%. In contrast, Autif figures show gross unit trust Isa sales have grown from £1.7bn in the second quarter of 1999 to £3.5bn over the same period in 2000, a rise.
