National Savings and Investments (NS&I) has increased the interest rates it pays on its fixed-rate products following rises in gilt yields. Rates on Fixed Interest Savings Certificates will rise by up to 30 basis points, while Index-Linked Savings Certificates rates will be increased by up to 25 basis points. Rates on Pensioners Guaranteed Income Bonds will rise by up to 35 basis points and Fixed Rate Savings Bonds rates will rise by up to 40 basis points.
