Next month, the judging panel for the Investment Week Fund Manager of the Year awards will start to pick the winners across 12 fund categories. Among these, chosen by a panel that includes John Chatfeild-Roberts of Jupiter and Gary Potter and Robert Burdett of Credit Suisse, will be awards for the best UK Income, UK Growth and European funds. For a full list of the peer groups, see the table on the right. The judges, who also include Bambos Hambi of Gartmore, and John Husselbee of Hendersons, have already sent out questionnaires to managers on the shortlist and responses must be returned ...
