Top 10 performers are overweight South Korea while avoiding small Eastern European countries

At the end of May, all of the countries representing the MSCI Emerging Markets index declined, with the greatest falls in Argentina, Brazil, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Russia, South Africa and Turkey, according to Credit Suisse Asset Management. By sector, materials and energy were hardest hit, but selling has been broad-based, even across some of the traditionally more defensive sectors such as consumer staples and utilities.
