Legal & General this week launches its Index Linked Gilt Index Trust. The objective of the scheme, managed by Helen Stuart, is to track the UK Index Linked Government Securities, as represented by the FTSE Index-Linked All Stocks Index. This will be achieved by investing in a representative sample of stocks whereby the underlying value exhibits the performance characteristics of the index. The fund will fall into the Index Linked Gilt Sector and has a gross redemption yield of 1.79%. Investors must have a minimum of £100,000 to invest.
