Gartmore manager is more optimistic on the performance of equity markets than his former colleague at investec

For many years they were colleagues but for the past six months Alastair Mundy and Chris Burvill have been going head to head with their respective asset allocation mandates. Mundy and Burvill, managers of Investec Cautious Managed and Gartmore Cautious Managed respectively, know each other's style inside-out, having worked together for a total of six years over the past three decades.
