survey reveals balanced pooled pension funds returned over 20% per annum over three years
Balanced pooled pension funds have returned more than 20% per annum on average over the three years to 31 July, according to the latest figures from the Russell/Mellon Caps survey. Over the month of July, balanced funds returned 3.8% on average but over three and five years to the same date, gained 22.8% and 11.3% per annum respectively. Over the year to end of July, the top performing balanced pooled pension fund is the Framlington Balanced Managed portfolio, run by the group's Financials manager Richard Peirson.
