Isas remain a mystery to almost three quarters of the adult population, according to research carried out by Lincoln. These results came despite the financial services industry having spent more than £5.5m on Isa advertising this year, the group said. According to a survey carried out to track the success of Lincoln's own advertising campaign, 27% of adults said they still do not understand Isas, while a further 28% stated they have no interest in Isas and are not planning to take one out in the future.
