Norwich Union has added a five-year money back guarantee to with-profits investments in its Portfolio Investment Bond. The offer applies only to new monies coming into the Portfolio Investment Bond between 9 February and 31 December 2004. Over this same time period, the group is offering an extra 1.5% allocation rate as an added incentive. The deal means investors have a two-week window either side of the policy's fifth anniversary in which it is guaranteed they will be able to take a full return of original capital invested, regardless of market moves.
