Norwich Union with-profits policyholders want cash rather than extra bonuses if surplus assets in its funds are distributed, although only a third favour the plan. According to surveys conducted by policyholder advocate Clare Spottiswoode, ready money would be twice as popular as an extra bonus if the so-called inherited estate is reattributed.
