Abbey has increased its postal cash Isa interest rate to 4.60% annual equivalent rate (AER) for new and existing customers, regardless of the account balance. The Postal Isa will also have a guarantee that it remains 0.50% above the Bank of England base rate until 1 April 2005. Abbey has also introduced additional flexibility, reducing the minimum withdrawal limit from £250 to £1. It has removed the tiers on the Isa so every customer immediately receives more interest regardless of their account balance. Contact: 0800 174635 or go to www.abbey.com
