Alliance Trust has put back the launch of its flat-fee fund supermarket to the first quarter of 2008. The group, best known for its giant investment trust, hoped to have the service up and running this year, but negotiations are still ongoing. Claudia Philips, Alliance Trust managing director of investment dealing, said the group wants to carry out more customer consultation before launching the product.
