Barclays Global Investors (BGI) is looking to transfer eight funds to Barclays Wealth Management's multi-manager platform on 9 November. The transfer will be put to a shareholder vote later this month. These funds are currently run on an active quantitative basis and will move to a manager of managers approach if the transfer to the wealth management division gets the go-ahead. BGI said the funds would use Ucits III powers and single pricing under a Coll structure with L&G acting as the ACD for the vehicles.
