February Isa sales figures are on course to be up on January's gross sales of £380m but are still down on 2001 figures, although groups are reporting a March sales surge. Ben Yearsley, investment manager at Hargreaves Lansdown, said volumes had markedly increased over the past month. Richard Preston, finance director at Cofunds, said March has seen strong increase in inflows, while Fidelity and Threadneedle have reported similar sales spikes.
