New Star and T. Bailey are both launching funds blending equities, bonds and property this spring. While the New Star vehicle will actively manage the three asset classes, run by respective specialists Stephen Whittaker, James Gledhill and Roger Dossett, T. Bailey is bringing its third fund of funds to the market with a Cautious Managed portfolio. Although New Star's fund is still at the planning stage, the equity and bond portions are expected to be managed as segregated mandates, while the exposure to property will be via Dossett's property vehicle.
