Schroders has entered in to a distribution deal with HBos, with two of its portfolios being made available through the Halifax and Bank of Scotland bank branches. The Schroder Gilt & Fixed Interest fund and the Schroder Institutional Equity Advantage fund will be able to be accessed through the Bank of Scotland Investment Services life assurance products. Over the three years to 29 September, the Gilt & Fixed Interest fund is ranked two out of 32 portfolios in the UK Gilt sector, based on returns of 15.5% after charges.
