Iimia funds of funds manager Nick Greenwood is using the flexibility of his growth Oeic to access Japanese managers and obtain technology exposure without paying a premium for investment trust shares. The product was launched in February and currently has around 25% of assets in open-ended vehicles with the rest in investment trusts and other closed-ended companies. This contrasts to Greenwood's Accelerated fund, which can hold just 5% in Oeics and unit trusts, and his pure Iimia Investment Trust of investment trusts.
