Scottish Equitable has been renamed Aegon Scottish Equitable to clarify the link between the group and its parent. Similarly, the parent group's corporate and individual businesses have taken on the Aegon tag while Aegon Trustee Solutions and Aegon Actuarial Services have been created within the firm's final salary pension division. At the same time, the Scottish Equitable Protect brand will merge into the main Aegon Scottish Equitable business. Aegon Asset Management will remain unchanged as will the group's intermediary businesses Positive Solutions and Origen.
