Skandia Investment Management (IM) is in talks with 20 fund managers with the aim of launching a Global Best Ideas fund in September. The existing shortlist of managers is due to be halved with the final product, which will be run on a multi-manager basis, featuring 10 managers each running a list of their 10 highest conviction stocks. Managers from groups such as Artemis, Invesco Perpetual, Jupiter, New Star, Framlington, Liontrust and Schroders are all thought to be in the frame.
