legg mason us equity climbs to aaa status while credit suisse translantic falls to A
Bill Miller's Legg Mason US Equity fund and his offshore Value portfolio have been upgraded to AAA status by Standard & Poor's in its latest review of the sector. Credit Suisse's popular Transatlantic fund has been downgraded from AA to A. The downgrade is a result of S&P's assessment that while team resources have grown steadily in recent years, the fund has failed to meet its high performance objective during the three-year tenure of team head Susan Everly. There are now 11 AAA-rated funds in the North America sector, including on- and offshore vehicles, four of which belong to GAM. ...
