Shortlists are announced for the 2007 Investment Week Investment Trust of the Year Awards, with the winners to be revealed on 13 November

Baillie Gifford has once again emerged as a front-runner in this year's Investment Week Investment Trust Awards, with four vehicles nominated in various categories. The group has two trusts highlighted in the Japan sector, Baillie Gifford Japan and Shin Nippon, plus Pacific Horizon in Asia/Emerging Markets and Scottish Mortgage in Global. Shortlists for the various categories are outlined below, with the group nominations to be announced in October.
